staycation!

staycation...not what i had intended, but ultimately i think i made it work. rather than sea kayaking i got expensive drinks with rich in the middle of the day; instead of skating i got a couple of wicked cool (faux-)souvenir t-shirt.

i'll try for a southern california sojourn next year!
