march 8th, almost everywhere in the western world but here, is international women's day. it is a day to reflect of the special role women play in life and society, one that is easily overlooked or dismissed (or not even celebrated...). to summarize wikipedia, it's sorta like valentine's day and mother's day combined. thank you, paula, for enlightening me!
