yes, swedish paper dolls! and they are too fabulous not to share. children's magazines from the 1950s to the 80s included paper dolls of historical figures that kids could cut out, dress, and use to reenact moments of history...which i would imagine was a pretty effective teaching mechanism. every now and then they threw in cultural and regional figures as well. so, if you're lucky enough to read swedish or just wish to muddle through and take a wild guess at what it says, print these guys out and have fun! that's what we'll be doing...
