we've gone from this...it had to happen sooner or later...i was kinda hoping for later. a few days ago sophie just stood up and started walking. and she hasn't stopped by choice yet. she was an expert crawler for so long and things were pretty easy--we have brick floors so i could hear her little hands slapping the ground whenever she went anywhere. now it's like she's in stealth mode all the time. but it is such a cute walk--it has a frankensteinesque quality to it mixed in with the stiff arms of someone holding a dance partner too tightly. so darling. look at my girl go!
