we're back...from london!

gus and i took a brief, wonderful trip to london last week to celebrate his 10th birthday--it was a last minute trip but it could not have been more perfect. we were initially supposed to travel to albuquerque, but there was not a reasonable fare to be found...but, oddly, fares to london were not only reasonable but LESS than flights to new mexico. so, it only made sense to go! rich and sophie stayed here, unfortunately, but i think we all got on well anyway. and gus' birthday celebrations continue as he and rich are leaving for st. louis tonight.
